Name Tags: Child of God (Ephesians 1:4-6)
Our new sermon series will focus on our IDENTITY in Christ – I’m calling it: “NAME TAGS!” As we spend the beginning of this semester introducing ourselves to one another, we are also going to learn how true Christians can identify themselves. What can Christians write on their name tag?
In this sermon, we begin by learning that true Christians can call themselves a CHILD OF GOD! We often only think about our salvation as putting us in right legal standing before God (our justification) which is AMAZING but there’s even MORE to the picture. Not only have we been legally justified by God, we have also been lovingly adopted by Him! He is our Father! In this sermon, we we study Ephesians 1:4-6 to learn that our adoption is from Him, through Him, and for Him.
